What is Jungian Psychology?

Jungian Psychology, founded by Carl Jung, explores the hidden parts of the mind — the unconscious — where our beliefs, fears, and repressed experiences live. These unseen forces often drive our patterns and choices without us realizing it.

By working with them through practices like Shadow Work, we gain clarity beyond our surface level of awareness to allow us to make lasting changes in our lives.

How is Jungian Coaching different from regular coaching?

Regular coaching focuses on goals, reframing with positive thinking, and helping you take action.

Jungian coaching uses the framework of Jungian depth-psychology to go much deeper, tapping into a new territory of your mind to help you uncover the root of what’s driving your choices and patterns to help you create lasting transformation.

Our work is grounded in Jungian-based theory, Shadow Work, and Carl Jung’s model of Individuation — the lifelong process of becoming your true self.

What can I expect from a discovery call?

A complimentary discovery call is a chance for us to connect and get to know each other.

You’ll have space to share where you are and what you’re looking for, and I’ll introduce myself and my approach. Together, we’ll explore whether this work feels like a mutual fit.

Do I need to purchase a package?

Coaching is a commitment to yourself and a unique journey of growth rather than a singular session experience. Though you might gain powerful insights in one session, real change develops over time.

Packages are designed to give you ongoing support — not only through our sessions, but also with in-between guidance and a dashboard of exercises to deepen the work.

If you’re hesitant about committing, I encourage you to book a discovery call. We can talk through your concerns and explore the options together.

How is coaching different than therapy?

A clinical therapy model often focuses on healing trauma, cognitive processing, mental health diagnoses, or treatment.

Jungian Coaching differs as it’s goal-oriented - focused on what you want to create tapping into deep layers of your mind and using your inner wisdom. Through shadow work and emotional integration, we uncover the unconscious stories shaping your choices and use that awareness to create new possibilities. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If you are currently in therapy, coaching can be a powerful supplement. And if you’re processing something beyond the scope of coaching, I’ll support you in finding the right care.

Do I need to be spiritual to do this work?

No, you don’t need to identify as spiritual to benefit from this work. Depending on your personal needs, we might explore Jungian-based concepts like archetypes, inner feminine/masculine dynamics, active imaginations, dream work, and guided meditations.

All that’s required is an open mind to think outside the box, and a willingness to explore yourself in new ways.

Can I really change and create something new?

Change is absolutely possible — but it’s ultimately up to you. There’s no linear path and no one-size-fits-all process. Coaching empowers you to be in the drivers seat of the journey, and I am here to guide you along the way.

What I can tell you is that the clients who show up fully, meet themselves with honesty and depth, and stay committed to the work have experienced life-changing results.

Do you work with men?

At the moment, my primary focus is on supporting women, though Marwa Coaching will eventually evolve into a place for all.

For Integration Coaching: Do you facilitate journeys?

I do not guide, nor do I facilitate in any capacity; however, if you need support vetting, I can assist in answering questions.

For Integration Coaching: Do I need to book a journey or retreat before coaching?

No. Many clients begin this work while they’re still exploring the idea or deciding if it’s the right step.
